Service Description

This is a 5 week course introducing you to the basic pottery techniques You will learn: -How to use the pinch pot technique -How to use the coiling technique -How to use the slab techniques -How to attach clay together -How to use studio equipment such as a slab roller, heat gun and clay extruder -How to prepare your clay by wedging -Develop your ideas, one week will be freestyle where you will be able to use your favourite learnt technique -You will decorate 5 of your favourite pieces with coloured slips (your piece will be dipped in a clear glaze after the course) You will be guided through each process closely by Rebecca. All materials, and tools will be provided. This is a friendly encouraging group in a lovely work space. Refreshments will be provided. Come and have fun, no pressure and learn a new skill.
