Service Description

This is a 5 week course extending your pottery skills to learn the following: -Developing your design ideas -Consolidating basic pottery techniques and working on your preferred methods -Refining your work -Exploring more techniques such as pattern imprinting/ sgraffito/ sculpture/ moulding (these are dependent on your interests) -Use of the studio equipment such as the clay extruder, slab roller and heat gun -Working on your clay preparation techniques such as wedging - Experimenting with test tiles and glazes - Firing will be included for 5 of your favourite pieces (There will be a limit to size of objects due to the kiln) Any extra firing will be at the participant's cost. You will be supported by Rebecca with the above. All materials and tools will be provided. This is a friendly and encouraging environment where every one is supportive. This group has a real community feel. Come and have fun and stretch your pottery skills.
